Project Bench Mod

The Project Bench mod makes complex recipes less time consuming and much easier to create. It adds storage to ordinary crafting benches that allows you to place items necessary for a recipe into it and pulls as many items as you want so long as you have it stocked.

Herobrine Mod

For those of you who know the Minecraft myth of Herobrine, this mod is perfect for you. It adds a whole new level of fear in the game. Herobrine will either spawn randomly in the world, or you can summon him using a totem.

First you need to make a special Herobrine totem block using bones and soulsand.

Rei’s Minimap

Rei’s Minimap mod adds a customisable minimap to the top right corner of the Minecraft window. Once the mod is installed press M to enable or disable the minimap and change various settings.

MusicCraft Mod

This mod adds functional instruments to your Minecraft world. If you’ve ever wanted to class up your den with a grand piano, now you can. And even better you can play it as well.

This mod adds a whole host of instruments from guitars and drums to trumpets and saxophones; all playable but equally aesthetically pleasing.

Once you’ve crafted your instrument, you simply stand in front of it, left click (some instruments require an extra keystroke) and the playable notes appear in front of you.

You can either click the notes individually or turn on keyboard controls and play using the letters/numbers on your keyboard.

Exp Chest Mod

This mod is fairly straightforward, easy to use, and incredibly useful. The Exp Chest Mod lets you create a special chest to store the experience you get from doing things like mining and killing mobs. It’s very useful since without being able to store your exp anywhere, if you were to die, you would lose all of your exp. There are two variants; normal exp chest, and ender xp chest. The normal chest just lets you put as much of your exp as you want in one chest in one location – useful if you have one home base you often return to.

Dalek Mod

If you are a Whovian (big fan of Doctor Who) you will love this mod. It adds a lot of the features in the world of the Doctor to Minecraft. You can find things like Daleks, costumes, and tools. You get to use the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver, sonic blaster, and other tools!

Medieval Weapons Mod

The Medieval Weapons Mod adds a variety of things to Minecraft to make it more medieval-themed! These are all the new additions to the game:

The new foods are medieval-themed and offer very good healing and hunger-satisfying effects.

This mod also expands Minecraft’s features. It allows you to use emerald to make tools and weapons, with the same recipe structure as any other material.

There is also a new gem and armor set in the mod, called Zenitte. You have to find ruby ore, mine it, then use smelted ruby, emerald and obsidian (which turn liquid) in a recipe to make one zenitte gem. You then use the zenitte to create armor with the same recipes for any other material. The process is shown here.

LittleBlocks Mod

Time and again I’ve created a building that incorporated several complex redstone wirings in order for a door or wall or floor to open up. The problem with complex circuitry is that it takes up a significant amount of sub-floor or inner wall space. Enter Little Blocks.

Damage Indicators

The Damage Indicators mod adds an RPG feel to Minecraft by displaying the health of any mob that is nearby or that you are currently attacking. The mod has many configuration options and will even work on some Minecraft servers displaying player health.

Gravity Gun Mod

If you’ve ever played Half-Life 2, you will enjoy this mod. It adds both the Gravity Gun and the Supercharged Gravity Gun to Minecraft.
